Trinkhalle - Madrid

The food could not have been worse. Our orders took very, very long. No wonder it was the only place in the Mercado de San Anton that had available tables. The ceviche de champiñón was inedible.

We stopped at this place inside the market on the upper floor which has a great terrace. The food was good but the service was slow. Took an hour between our Spinach Salad and our Chicken Jalapeño burritos. The staff was disorganized and the whole market was packed on a Saturday afternoon...

This little charming place has a very nice terrace which makes you accept the slightly overpriced food. Drinks are good and food is ok, however it's the atmosphere that makes the place. Some complain about the service, however this is a place where you walk up to the counter and order...#thisisnotarestaurant

Todos creen que es un restaurante, pero no es así. un simple servicio de comida, sin pretensiones gastronómicas, saludables y ricas. las expectativas de su ubicación y el mimo de la decoración supongo que conducen al error. Es un bar para morder y beber, tomar un café y charlar... no más. Es curioso que la gente suba a la terraza de arriba, coma peor, tome más tiempo y no repare en este rincón. Por fin, por gotas los colores.

We enjoyed some wine on the terrace and it was very pleasant. Much less crowded than the rooftop restaurant, it was nice to be outside.
