Decent place for a quick breakfast service very frantic and it helps to speak Spanish the waiters were hilarious. Rushing about so quickly. Very cheap though, with breakfast options range from just over two euros to just under nine. We found it difficult to find places close to our apartment that were open early and serving so this place was a find. Coffee good , OJ freshly squeezed would recommend

Food was average. Please confirm the prices with the staff should you be selecting any seafood with market prices because their pricing is NOT market pricing at all. we were charged more than 5x the average market prices. Nowhere in the restaurant is the market prices mentioned nor in the menu, take note. we were informed of a different price as that charged on the bill and we tried to explain its incorrect of them to cheat their customers like this . The boss was called in and started yelling at us. He even did the gesture of slapping his face (If we understand from our Spanish friends, that 's calling us shameless). Rather than doing damage control for the miscommunication of his staff, he chose to create a scene and chased the 'potential customers ' away. Such a disgraceful behavior for a restaurant in the heart of Madrid. Honestly, you get better food elsewhere and service too so if possible, avoid this place as it 's a tourist scam. One plus pt is the Location. Centrally located.

Do not go to this place. They informed us 24 euroes per kilo but when we got the bill it turned out to be 240 euroes per kilo for the prawns.. which was ridiculous, and the prawns were not even fresh! If they had informed us of the correct pricing in the first place we would not have ordered it. EXTREMELY unethical pricing. The boss started shouting at us after we tried to clarify the prices.They were probably overcharging us as we were tourists. How could it cost 250 euroes for 6 prawns? Yet 80 euroes for a big platter. The owner called the police on us even though we paid for our bill.
