Shanghai Station Arturo Soria - Madrid

This particular restaurant was recommended by famous Spanish chef el Comidista , on one of his books. Perfect recommendation! For those who seek a real taste of Asian cuisine, this Chinese is more Chinese than the western-oriented-golden-dragon-stuff you might find in any corner of any big Spanish city (and by the way, it 's more expensive than any of those). Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, and the quality of the food is superb. The place does not feature a 200-dishes á la carte choice menu like most cheap Chinese do, but it is packed wih the basic you might order. You can 't be wrong.

You have to order every part of one dish seperately and each part is expensive and very small portion. The fried rice with prawns has no prawns but some minced something that I could not make out and very salty because of the amount of soya sause used, was so black I could not make out if it was rice. Never experienced such chinese food before. The taste was horrible and I had upset stomach due to the excessive soya.

Terraza completamente techada y acristalada, mínima ventilación (aunque a mediodía en Madrid había unos 20 grados) y mesas muy juntas. No válida para evitar infecciosnes trasmitidas por vía aérea.
