Le Pain Quotidien Capitan Haya - Madrid

Me and my son came here for a quick snack before watching the Real Madrid football, a few minutes walk away from the stadium. Luckily food tasted better than the service was. Bill came to €13 for pancakes, waffles and a breakfast tea.

Le pain quotidien is an Excellent breakfast option in Madrid with different brunches around the city, I visited the Capitan Haya brunch and it was amazing! They have a rich menu with an all day brunch, I visited with friends where I ordered the Brunch option Madrid which is a diverse platter of an egg Benedict on a crunchy toast with greens, a fruit salad, 2 avocado toasts, croissant and granola with cereals all in one place. Would definitely come back again

It is clear from the beginning that this is a franchise, so the ratings may vary accordingly. The place is clean, overall food quality is good and the little store has delicious food to take away (breads, cakes... . However the staff was not really kind and quite slow. Also too many vegan-labelled stuff (should have their own menu to my taste and not a lot to choose from. I asked for a burger and the meat was way too cooked, tasteless. Nice potatoes on side, though. Just correct overall feeling, huge room for improvement.

Muy rica la comida pero destaca el servicio. El trato de Edgar, el camarero, ha sido excelente.
