Dediego – Pinchos - Madrid

It was hit and miss on our trip to Madrid. This was a hit. Good food and service. Great atmosphere and even better play list! Not terribly pricey either. Big time recommendation!

The options on the menu looked divine and we ordered about 5 different things to share between 3 people: churros, tortilla, croquetas, huevos rotos and a steak pincho. We also got tea and coffee. The orange juice was delicious. Unfortunately, not all of the food was tasty. The tortilla was lacking salt which made the caramelised onion taste fishy and the churros were rather rubbery. The service was great and the cafe is located in a nice area too.

Went with family for simple tapas lunch, pretty much the kind of stuff you can get anywhere in town and am presented with passable tortilla, burnt croquetas (and not very good inside), uncooked chips with the huevos rotos (the chips are the key ingredient in this dish) and a passable couple of other things plus, the price is higher than average, and the service preety bad, as two of the three waiters show a really unpleasant attitude
