The restaurant offers beautiful homemade cakes and a delicious steak dinner featuring high-quality meat from a local butcher. Cathy and Vicky are exceptional hosts, providing wonderful service while supporting George behind the bar.

Very nice, friendly accommodation, beautiful staff. Sunday evening dinner was absolutely amazing, piping hot when it reached our table. never cost carrots so goouod before! our children also enjoyed eating and everyone was very full.

Had an excellent meal and dessert, staff were extremely friendly and managed to fit us in despite us not booking a table. Honeycomb cheesecake is the best.

The pub itself was warm and welcoming. The service was outstanding, and the food was top-notch. We had a choice of meats: turkey, beef, or pork, and we all opted for the beef, which did not disappoint. The meal included Yorkshire puddings, vegetables, both roasted and boiled potatoes, gravy, and fresh slices of horseradish for that extra kick. For dessert, we decided to share two options: a lemon cheesecake with strawberries and a sticky toffee pudding with custard. We couldn't agree on which dessert was better; both were simply delightful! The pub had an impressive selection of beers, including some locally sourced options on tap. I particularly enjoyed the local cider, Stowford Press, which is a refreshing apple wine that paired beautifully with the food. Overall, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for such a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a wonderful meal together!
