I really don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I have to say that this was the worst fish fry I've ever experienced. When our food arrived, it was merely warm, likely from sitting under a heat lamp for too long. The fish lacked the crispiness I expected and definitely wasn’t made to order. However, my wife did mention that the French fries were good. Unfortunately, the dish we were served did not resemble the picture in a previous review.

This restaurant stands out in Madison. It has a warm and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel as though you’ve returned to your small-town roots, where everyone seems to know your family or went to school with your relatives. Order a coconut rum cocktail in a plastic cup, then relax on the grass by the lakeshore as you watch the sunset casting a silhouette of the capitol dome. It truly feels like paradise. No picture can fully capture the experience, but here’s my attempt anyway.

We attended a private catered event at this venue. The drink selection was excellent, and the bar service was attentive. The buffet food was also quite tasty. I’m aware that they frequently host live entertainment, and I would definitely recommend this place.

I was disappointed with my experience at the tiki bar. They couldn't even make a Mai Tai, which is the classic tiki drink. When I ordered a margarita from the menu, the bartender handed me a bottle of table salt instead of providing a rimmed glass. When I asked about it, she said, "Oh, I thought you wanted to lick it off your hand." This left me confused. It seemed like the bartender lacked the knowledge to make any cocktails outside of the menu, which makes me question her bartending credentials. I had been looking forward to visiting this place for two years, thinking it would offer a supper club vibe with a relaxed atmosphere, but it turned out to be quite disappointing and run-down.
