Subway - Madison

I attempted to use a voucher at the restaurant, but they initially refused to accept it, even though it was still valid. I ended up stepping outside, and the employee eventually called me back and allowed me to use the coupon. He also brought up the tip, but I didn't leave anything. My friend and I felt like he was trying to get a tip for processing the offer. Regardless, the sub was good.

While this isn't the best Subway I've visited, it somehow gives me a good laugh. I went there three times last month, and each time, it was the same staff. They always seem to be quite rough when making my sandwich. It's amusing how they create some really strange sandwiches and then go ahead and add toppings I didn’t request. If I ask for something, they pile it on, but if I don't, they barely add anything. Overall, it's still a Subway, so the sandwiches are generally similar. I just wonder if anyone else comes away from this place with a chuckle!

The food is good, but the restaurant closes much earlier than expected, and their new hours are not posted anywhere. I placed a delivery order and paid for bacon on my sandwich, but it was missing. I reached out to the store owners to resolve the issue, but they didn't respond. This place is unreliable with inattentive owners, so I recommend skipping it.

Okay, so here's the details. The staff here is always the same. I'm totally okay with that. You make Subs a little time. The store is kept to a certain extent clean. However, there are some problems. It's hard to get the sub you want due to the language barrier, sometimes they could move or put a little too much or less on your sub. In addition, they always want to ask for tips. I wanted to get cookies today. I had replacements in my hand. I gave them everything I had, and I had something left. The cashier scores at my change and directs me essentially twice to set the change of the tip. It's like you're saying if you don't tap me, you're a bad person. This is not the first time that it has happened, I have gone there a few times to get Subs, and if you give them money and there are remains, he will give you the bills and put the change in the top jar himself without asking how he deserves it. It is extremely rude, unprofessional and sometimes you even have a big change like 98 cents or so. I won't go there from now on. By the way, it's the same guy who did it. This may look like I ranting but just because I eat in a restaurant does not mean that you can just take money from me. I can be in a hurry, I actually like Subway, I just want to eat a good meal a day, etc. Therefore, save your money and choose one of the other Fast Food places on State St., you will spend less and get more.

NEVER GO HERE I paid for my food online and they closed 2 hours early with no notice. As the manager walked out they told me to come back for my sandwich in the morning. No refund was ever issued after making many calls.
