Sam's Club - Madison

I ordered flowers for delivery online, and the tracking said they were delivered. I called the customer service number and was informed that they had indeed been delivered, but when I requested a refund, I was told I couldn’t get one and would have to go to the club in person—7.5 hours away! Unbelievable! You can't make this stuff up.

I called the 800 number for assistance, and I was told I needed to speak with the store. The representative attempted to call the store but got no answer and suggested I try again in the morning. Fine. I called the next day, only to be told that they don’t deliver flowers. After being placed on hold, my call disconnected after 12 minutes. I called back multiple times—eight times, to be exact—before anyone finally answered. When I asked to hold for assistance, I ended up waiting an astonishing 52 minutes, only to have the call drop again. On my next attempt, I requested to speak to the store manager and was placed on hold again for 12 minutes, but the call got disconnected once more. I kept trying and finally got through again. This time, I was informed the store manager was unavailable, but they would take my name and number to have them call me back. I have little hope that will happen.

Many terrible pickup experiences at Madison, MS. They will not bring out your order when you check in and won’t answer phone. To top it off they charged my card for the order that I never received. They will not answer phone and corporate won’t help. They say you have to call the store that won’t answer. I’ve been a member since 1986. I’m done. Hello Costco. I’m glad there is another game in town. Sam Walton would be mortified.

Different variety of items that other Sam's clubs we go to doesn't have. I guess that should be expected. I didn't see the 50 CT. Boxes of chips though, I didn't know if they were out or they didn't sell them at that Sam's club. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

Canceled membership got a refund after 30 days. Too much like Walmart…long lines in store gas station. Gas pumps always broken! Going to join Costco again because you get what you pay for. I can be dissatisfied at Walmart without a membership.
