Nonno’s Italiano - Madison

Say YES YES to Nonno’s! Gosh. The place is warm and inviting, my mate and I got a smattering of things, each very good- I swear the food makes even better leftovers!!

Everything including the coffee drinks were so delicious. Best ravioli I have ever had. No rushing done here. Lovely all around.

We moved to the area a couple of years ago and Nono's has always been on our list to try as my fiance LOVES Italian cuisine and we finally got to it last night. Our only regret is that we didn't try it sooner. I personally believe that the atmosphere, service, and care and flavor put into the cuisine reflects a much higher price point. With the prices we saw on the menu, we were expecting around average or better, not jaw droppingly sublime with every single dish. We finally know where we are having dinner for our anniversary next month. For the pana Cotta, there are no words. But they love how much we loved it and that I had mentioned that I've made some myself before. He said that many people who order it say that it is only okay, clearly they don't know what to expect with the flavor and were thrown off because I absolutely adored it and my only experience with pana cotta before this was flavored ones. I did not expect to be this blown away by plain pana cotta and blueberry coulis. You can really taste the care and attention in the dishes here and for that, not only will we be returning more than once, we will also bring in family.

The experience was decent, but nothing exceptional.

An interesting place with good food in a Mexitaliano atmosphere.
