Muramoto Hilldale - Madison

I recently visited Muramoto at Hilldale and was impressed once again. The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the Fire and Dragon rolls - both were fantastic. The miso black cod with bok choy was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I can't wait to go back for more. The soul tang salad and elk soup were also excellent. Overall, a top-notch culinary experience. Muramoto is definitely one of the best restaurants in Hilldale - don't miss out!

The sushi here is delicious! I usually don't like nori, but the seaweed used has a very mild taste. The plant tempo roll was really good. And the lychee martini was fantastic.

The sushi, sake, and service at this restaurant were excellent. We came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a wonderful time. We ordered 4 rolls but ended up ordering a 5th for dessert because everything was so delicious. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

Planned to have dinner there earlier in thr week and was surprised and disappointed to see that they closed for several days due to covid. we managed to get there before the lunch rush and our food came pretty quick. miso soup was packed with tofu and greens and just the perfect temp. the fried calamari appetizer was hot, fresh out the fryer and a perfect crisp with a delicious dipping sauce. there was plenty of pickled ginger for our order of rolls and sashimi was delicious. service was great! our kids can be a bit excited in a new environment but our waitress was very kind and attentive. thanks for reopening!

It was a little hard to find the entrance (user error probably made it more difficult) but once we made it, Muramoto didn't disappoint. The food was great, as well as the service. They have a good selection of raw and cooked items. I would definitely go again.
