My son and I enjoy taking drives together, so I came across a website called Daytrip Cincinnati and decided to explore some options for a leisurely Sunday outing. While browsing the western region recommendations, I stumbled upon a discussion about Madison, IN. Although I wasn't entirely sure what to expect, I was intrigued...

The food was delicious and the view of the river was breathtaking. We came for a starter and stayed for hours enjoying the company and ambience. The staff was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were supported by Chelsea and Amy at the bar. If you stay in Madison area, this is a local jewel!

Great view of the river! Because you're on it! All three of our cocktails were well made. My Ruben Sandwich was great!!!! Both mates have the fish sandwich they were good. Great stop, great mood, great drinks, great bartender, great location, great food, great bike stop, great time. I am again!!!! Not to throw Madison without stopping!!! Bar by the river. If you're lucky, Marley will be your bartender—she's fantastic! We make it a point to visit the Lighthouse every time we're in Madison during their seasonal hours. The food is incredible, the view is stunning, and the drinks are delicious!
