Helen's Hot Chicken - Madison

I'd like to start by saying that I'm quite selective about where I dine. When I first considered trying this new restaurant, I was a bit hesitant, thinking it would just be another standard chicken spot. I'm so glad I took the plunge, though, because Helen's is so much more than that! The food was outstanding. We ordered the fish and chicken, and both were cooked to perfection. The service was excellent as well; the staff was friendly and prepared our order efficiently and promptly. The decor was lovely too. Beyond the fantastic food and top-notch service, I was really impressed by how clean the restaurant was, and they also have a great inspection score. I will definitely return! Thank you!

I visited this restaurant for lunch today for the first time, and it will definitely be going into my regular rotation! I ordered the mild fried catfish with potato salad, and the food was cooked to order and simply delicious! Plus, the staff was very friendly and made sure we were happy with our experience. I will definitely be back!

I found the value to be excellent, and the food was quite good. The mango tea was amazing! My only complaint was that it felt a bit chilly inside, but that was likely due to all the customers coming in for their meals on a cold day. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant, especially for their mango tea!

Chicken and fish was hot and delicious! As it has been stated, expect about a 20 minute wait for your food. But, the atmosphere is friendly, with tv for kids and adults, so the wait is not so bad. Plus great food takes time. It was worth the wait!

The aroma makes your mouth water as soon as you open the door. The food did not disappoint. Yummy.
