Cheba Hut Toasted Subs - Madison

I live in the north, and this is the nearest Cheba Hut location to me. My boyfriend took me there three years ago, and since then, I actually prefer it over any five-star restaurant we’ve visited. Unfortunately, since we live so far away, we don’t get to go often. This past weekend, we finally made the trip, but our order got messed up twice. I didn’t check it before we left, so I share some of the blame. It’s just really disappointing that I missed out on the sub I look forward to all year. I’m always hoping they’ll open a location up north!

All of our selections were outstanding. The food was truly amazing.

I walked in without any expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the staff are fantastic, and the food is delicious. They even serve Kool-Aid! If I had to point out one downside, it would be that the music is a bit loud, making it hard to hear the person taking your order. Overall, I will definitely be back!

The best sub I ever had. Ingredients were so fresh. I had the 5-0 sub. I literally went back to this sub four hours later and it was still fresh.

This is the best sub I've ever eaten! The ingredients were incredibly fresh. I tried the 5-0 sub, and I was amazed to find that even four hours later, it still tasted just as fresh when I returned to the same spot.
