Satay House - Madison Heights

The food here is so good my co-workers and I literally count the days when they get back from vacation. From the curry beef noodle laksa to the chicken satay to the peanut pancakes, it reminds me of my mom 's house in Malaysia. It really is that good. The atmosphere is a bit weird but expected from a hole in the wall spot. For the taste and money, I don 't care if they put us in a basement, bring on the food!

Love this place! We had roti and chicken satay as appetizers. Satay was soft and chewy just perfect. Roti was also great. Ordered nasigoreng, seafood chow fun and kang kung. Nasigoreng was well paired with kang kung( morning glory stir fry). Seafood chow fun was the first choice for me though. Will visit and try other dishes here soon.

If you are in this area of Michigan. Must come here for Singapore/ Malaysian home food. First time here for us Service was great and dietary adjustments were graciously and patiently accommodated So glad this place is here to support local community with authentic food Note: if you are in the dallas metroplex area. The food was amazing. They were short staffed and still knocked it out of the park. We can't go back soon enough. Just WOW!
