Treat yourself to a pound of crispy roast pork and a few pieces of cha siu, and you'll have a delicious lunch or dinner when paired with some rice. The prices are still quite reasonable despite current inflation—around $15 for over a pound of cha siu.
This restaurant offers an excellent selection of Asian BBQ, ranging from decent Peking Duck to roasted pigs, along with a variety of barbecued sweetbreads. Everything is sold by the pound: your choices are weighed first and then cut with impressive efficiency. Please note that it’s a cash-only establishment, so be sure to bring cash and arrive early, especially during holidays or around Chinese New Year when they tend to get busy! Language may be a bit of a hurdle, but you can simply point to what you want.
I had the best Peking duck I've ever had in my life! They give you the option of either taking it home whole or cutting it up for you a selection of sauces too to go with it! But it was delicious just as is!
The most traditional GuangZhou flavors of bbq is this place. Outside your big city China cities, this is the place. It's small, it's family owned, it's busy. I'm driving more than an hour to come here. The lady owner is very nice and always gives you the best cut, of course first come to serve. Honey BBQ Pig and Roast Pig is a stable and they do it well. What is surprising to me is the duck, it is very tasteful as well, you can taste all herbs and spices. Try it now.
Beijing Duck is fantastic! I can’t give it a full five stars because the food wasn't served hot, and they didn’t offer any additional dishes. I will definitely return for the duck. If I ever decide to try something else, I’ll need to muster some courage, as their menu is very much focused on natural preparations. I wouldn’t be shocked if they had animals in the back! Overall, I really enjoy the duck here.
