Canteen - Madison

We ate a yummy lunch at Canteen recently. We tried the wagon wheels, tres salsas, Brussels sprouts tacos, and fried cauliflower burrito. Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. I’d definitely go back when in the area again!

The half-open Tacos deal here is BOMB. I'm here twice now and the only minor problem I've experienced is that the waiting time is long, but it makes sense because they are always busy during the happy hour. I really recommend the Mexican street corn, carne asada/pork belly/fish tacos, and churros

Wow! Yummy Tacos! Big street corn (in bowl, not on the goat, but is now like any other... but still good... We loved the fried cauliflower tacos!!! Carnitas were our second favorite. Also, the chicken El Pastor, who was also good. We liked flour tortillas better than corn. Note.... Two tacos will not be enough for most people!!! Plan to order a lot for the table so that each person has at least three, unless they are serious to limit calories. Great mood! Lively after the Badger game, but not too loud. Very pleasant!!! Prices were also extremely reasonable during the Happy Hour!

A must in Madison! Decor and atmosphere are bright and cheerful. The weekend broke and it was unbelievable. Spicy Marg is supposed to die. Seriously, best Margarita in town. The Chilaquiles can feed 2 people safely and the Churros are soft and tasty.
