Sri Shanthi Sagar - Madikeri

Good place for a quick vegetarian food. Meals was really filling. Quantity is more. Veg biryani was okish. Maintenance can be improved. Parking is available but always crowded, should wait for the other person to remove which becomes a little congested.

If you visit Coorg and are looking for a nice meal then visit Hotel Shanti Sagar. It's in the main market and the quality is too nice even with a nice quantity and rate.

One of the good hotels and good food. Definitely try the special kadai and akki (rice) rotti.

Food is tasty, hotel is clean and tidy but staffs are shouting like they are in bus stand... Need to take care of it...

Must have Kodagu special Akki roti and Pot Kadai. It's spicy and tasty. I stopped by for lunch post visiting some touristy places. Loved it. It had sizzler kinda look to it. Everyone around was asking about this dish after sizzling scene. Ambience isn't good enough. Need to maintain cleaniness. No masks worn by staffs. I had to take parcel of the remaining portion of curry since half plate wasn't available and It was sufficient for two. The parcel was leaking oil. Asked person who served if packed akki roti would taste good, if eaten late at night. He said it would, so asked him to pack a few but on the contrary it was dry, solid and difficult to swallow without a liquid drink. So don't get akki roti parcelled, have it there, when pipping hot.
