Saaranga The Family - Madgaon

Have always loved this place. The food is simple and delicious. The menu isn't vast but it's got good options. The wait for food also isn't long. Most of the time it isn't crowded.

Very poor experience. Don 't ever try this hotel if you are looking for seafood. Looks like lot of fuss being made about this hotel. The pomplate fish served was quite slack and smelling bad. I wonder how is this tolerated in places like Goa being famous for fresh seafood. More so they have mentioned the fish rates as seasonal by smartly hiding their high price. While I tried checking with owner/counter manager he was quite careless and sounded like arrogant.

Excellent sea food nice chonak and fresh fish. Superb preparation. Removed a star as our order was a bit delayed and the waiters were sort of out of out of sort and confused

I happened to visit this place on Aug 8th 2018, after reviewing the post in Google. The place and ambiance is OK, as a rule we cannot judge a book by its cover page, the food served was good and authentic Goan style, And food variety is good, service is good and due to rainy season fresh fish are not used instead they use frozen fish, however the food was good and I could witness local Goan crowd in the restaurant.

Service is good. Nice ambiance to have dinner. But lots improvement required in terms of taste and quality of food served.
