Martins - Madgaon

It feels like a chain restaurant. probably a restaurant that started great, but then lost its passion when it became an institution. the portions are large, but eating is not unforgettable. it is a good place to visit with a large group of people. because there are tons of waiting staff who are prompt.

Martins is located in the middle of margao they serve Goan food with a continental presentation. the owner is hospitable, friendly and helpful. the chef mahesh gave us our preferences and served us a wonderful meal. the fish steak was excellent.

If they are a fan of steaks, they must visit martin’s corner in betalbetim and order the martin’s special steak! it's the best steak I had in all goa and maybe even indie where it is allowed! the place is always so well packed to make a call before they go in. there are plenty of parking space and the ambiente is subtle.

A must visit restaurant for authentic goan delikatessen. although it is always full of customers, I appreciate sincerely friendly nature of the employees owners. beware of cleanliness.

At one time Martin's restaurant at BetalBatim South Goa was well known for great food. But today the standard has gone down ! Probably due to over exposure and over confidence.....and especially, the fish dishes are over priced !
