We booked in advance and when we came we were taken to a table were there were some dishes on the table already and a few more was served right away. The concept here is that the antipasti is served right away and then the chef comes to explain what you can order. The interior is a bit weird – the place is a dark, old hut with a couple of levels but with lots of different artifacts to decorate the place. And with a fireplace it turned out to be a very cozy place. We decided to have some gnocchi to start with and the chef made two different types for us. As a main meal we decided to have meat – the meat was very tender but maybe a bit salty for me. It was served with some caramelized onions and a lovely local polenta. After the meal we got some cookies and biscuits and we also got a strong digestive drink. All in all a fun, informal dinner with a lovely bottle of Sforzato di Valtellina. The meal was about 140 € (I think the wine was about 40 € to give you an indication of the price level.

Well, good. the most amazing restaurant has greeted me on this visit with a group of 15 guests on a ski holiday. this restaurant, from 1662, with the original staff, still.
Let's start saying that the place looks cozy, but at the same time weird. there is a terrifying woman stupidy just in the lower floor. when they get in, the owner will confuse them to tell many things, but above all to avoid saying. what is in the menu and what the price will be. according to our request he set a fixed menu for the price of 45 euro, including wine. the wee was a really cheap....that also eat....some sweet, cheese, brasaola and pizza to start with. valchiavenna pizzoccheri, polnta and 3 small pieces of calf meat to finish with potatoes. I think the cake was the best part of the menu. eating was really a cheap and the price of 45 euro was even too much for a tourist. are they aware of this!
It was excellent that the spirit was very enthusiastic to impress us with the choices of local food. a big party of us came and was shown our sitting. the restaurant is very dark, as it is built within an old customs...house and the original style of the building was well maintained. the food was served and during our visit, we were brought to the court of local Italian style. all the foods were beautiful, although some of the dishes were not tasted on every taste. the waiter was pleased to exchange these dishes that I consider an excellent service.
