Heartwood - Madawaska Valley

I recently tried the spicy salmon Buddha bowl at this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. I am already looking forward to returning. The staff is friendly and the food is incredible.

The menu is excellent, and both the food and service were outstanding! I can't wait to come back for dinner.

During my clinical placement in Barry's Bay, I had the pleasure of staying across the street from this restaurant. The salmon dish I tried was absolutely amazing, I would rate it 10 out of 10. The glaze, mango salsa, and beet slaw served on a bed of rice and lettuce were simply delicious. I was tempted to call and compliment them on the dish. I highly recommend trying it.

Working up in this beautiful area I had the joy to come to this restaurant and have the best food I’ve eaten during Covid. On the eve of another shut down the staff were very friendly and helpful and prepared an exquisite meal.Thank you so much!

Great spot with amazing food! Butterbeer holiday special was delightful. Most recently went to see live music from some good old local boys, twas a hoot! Keep the good food and vibes coming! (If you're unfamiliar with the spot it is the most lovely local spot that is family run and it shows!
