As for the wings, I don't think they were fresh; they seemed to be the pre-crumbed Ingham-style wings that are deep-fried. They were tasty if not remarkable, making for a great snack. You can see why they’re popular, often showcased in the shop window, and I’m sure many school kids grab them after school. At a reasonable price, they disappear quickly. The Fields Chicken Shop might just be my new go-to for a quick and budget-friendly meal. While it’s far from fancy and doesn’t have the appeal or variety of places like Chargrill Charlie’s or El Jannah, it’s local, affordable, and the service is friendly—definite advantages for any eatery.
