Touchdownz Seafood Grill - Macon

I didn’t have much issue with the food I ordered; I thought it was decent. However, I was quite disappointed to find that the TDZ sauce was simply garlic parmesan, which didn’t meet my expectations. My wife ordered the steamed oysters and opted to shuck them herself. She found them to be less than enjoyable. Additionally, the atmosphere of the place felt geared towards an older clientele. It was dimly lit and somewhat uncomfortable. Overall, I wouldn't choose to visit again.

I asked our waitress if the corn on the cob was seasoned, and she assured me it was, but it lacked flavor and was overcooked. My three shrimp tacos were also unappetizing. The bill came to $80, and we received no compensation for the lengthy wait. The only positive aspect was our waitress, who was nice—that's the sole reason I’m giving this place one star. If half stars were possible, I would choose that rating. Overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The crab claws had bread on them so thick you couldn’t taste the crab. No cocktail sauce period. We waited over 30 minutes for our to go order, after we ate in the restaurant. I’m definitely not going there again. They could’ve started on the to go when we were eating in. We gave our to go order with eat in order. They were out of a lot of foods.Meanwhile, when I got home to eat my chicken quesadilla, it was dry, no sauce, cheese was on the side and tortilla was burnt.

Would not recommend. Ordered the crab and shrimp boil to go only to find there were no shrimp. I suppose it’s my own fault for not throughly checking the container that had been tightly wrapped with plastic wrap so I only peeked in. I called back and informed the 3 different people that I spoke to and never received the refund I was told I would get. Honestly the food was not worth the price, even if the order had been correct.

It was okay. It was very loud, like.. VERY loud. Not the people, the music. Very inappropriate music was being played. the bass was definitely there... I could feel it course all through out my body.(do not recommend for children) The wouldnt say that the surrounding is like how you would expect to look like. . I see where it says bar, their is PLENTY of options if you are looking a for a drink. the seafood was their I could say, just dont think youre getting a place that specialized in that Era. but besides seafood, it was okay, again. I wasn't mind blown with it. But it filled me up.
