Between the Bread Cafe - Macon

Chicken Supreme was previously cubed chicken breast with melted cheese, sauteed fresh paprika, mushrooms and onions. Fries and a delicious pimp. Mayo or Italian on the sandwich. I spent my lunch today with driving to between the bread for a sandwich just to be thoroughly disappointed. The chicken is a chicken that became dry and black at the ends. I don't get my sandwich with onions or peppers, only mushrooms, Mayo and cheese. Mushrooms were definitely skillful mushrooms, I could not really say if there were any cheese and I got pastries from Mayo. The pommes were not appetizing and I had to ask if the sandwich still came with a pimple. Sandwich and drink were $12. I took two bites from the sandwich and was disgusting. I threw the whole thing in the garbage, except the tea. I'm glad my job had popcorn this afternoon. I will not return to Between the Bread unless the original Chicken Supreme returns.

Service was great. We had a big table that constantly grows and the waiter didn't seem to think. I had the Ahi tuna salad, which was a special one and it was very delicious. Some of the other people at my table also enjoyed their lunch.

We waited 20 minutes for our food and we were one of four tables. It was ridiculous. The food was average breakfast food, nothing spectacular. The pancakes are HUGE and dense, but good. If the service was faster, it would have been rated higher. I doubt we will return to breakfast.

Great meal in a clean, inviting restaurant. I had a delicious French Dip with very tender beef. The first order of fries was cold and waitress immediately replaced them. Hot and scrumptious!
