Taste Of Di Island Eatery

I was pleasantly surprised to find fantastic Jamaican food in this touristy town. It turned out to be one of the best meals of our trip up North. We did takeout and enjoyed our meal at a picnic table with our dog. The two women working were extremely helpful and kind. There are many gluten-free options available, which was great for me as a celiac. The flavors of the curried goat and jerk chicken, along with the sides of sautéed vegetables, plantains, rice and beans, and a refreshing salad, were out of this world. We are already considering returning for dinner to try more dishes. That's how good it was! Overall, a great dining experience with plenty of gluten-free choices.

The Jamaican cuisine at this restaurant is fantastic. The jerk chicken is as authentic as it gets, and the whole curry snapper was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be returning to dine here whenever we pass through. I highly recommend this place.

We had dinner at this restaurant on our first night and it was fantastic. The chicken had a delicious jerk flavor that wasn't too strong. The sweet potato fries were fresh, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The coleslaw was also very good. The service was quick and friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

We had just split a lukewarm pasty before driving back down to the UP and needed some real food. This was such a pleasure. The boys got jerk chicken and curry chicken. The girls got jerk tofu and curry tofu. Sides were rice and beans, bammy, and mac n cheese. Meals came with plantains and salad. It was so delicious. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: The fried tofu had great texture and flavor.
