Winchester's Whiskey Bourbon Room

We had originally intended to visit another restaurant, but a power outage hit the island. Luckily, this place had a generator and there was no wait on the last day of the lilac festival, so we decided to go to Winchester! The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but that's typical for most places on the island. Our table ordered a turkey sandwich, burgers, a salad, and chicken strips for the kids, and everything was fantastic with generous portions. The fries were delicious! We also noticed many others ordering the fried fish, and the portions were enormous! We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant and would definitely recommend giving it a try. Our waitress, Eve, was incredibly polite and helpful, and the rest of the staff was exceptionally professional as well. Thank you for a wonderful lunch on the island!

For dinner, I had the white fish, which was a generous portion for $28. It was expertly prepared and incredibly fresh, paired perfectly with hearty dough. The flatbread we ordered was AMAZING, and I highly recommend the Chicken Pesto—it was bursting with flavor and came loaded with a generous amount of toppings, including chicken. My only regret was not being able to try one of the burgers that looked so delicious at neighboring tables. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great service from our waitress, Eve. The food is tasty, and the prices are comparable to other places on the island. The only thing we weren't informed about was that French fries aren't included with the burger. The atmosphere is lovely, reminiscent of Pesky Blinds.

Very good, try the Brussel chips they are fantastic. Had the rib that was so delicate it was cut with a butter knife.

Monday we went to Mackinaw Island and went looking for somewhere to eat, found this amazing restaurant, the staff is very attentive and are there for your every need, the food was incredible, and the prices were perfect. I can't just leave it at this though, the staff here has great personally, they had us laughing, and truly enjoying our lunch. It was definitely a highlight of our Mackinaw Island experience and we will absolutely be going back. Thank you to Wally and the rest of the staff for everything!!!
