Original Murdick's Fudge

Our visit to this fudge shop was one of the highlights of our trip to the island! It was captivating to watch them make the fudge on the large granite slabs. The fudge itself was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend the double chocolate espresso flavor!

We visited a few fudge places on Mackinac Island and this place was good. Lots of selection to choose from. I would recommend the chocolate caramel sea salt or chocolate cherry. The mint was the weakest.

Not too friendly. They should remember they are a lot of places similar to the island.

This was our first visit to the island, and as we turned down Main Street, we stumbled upon Murdick's. My husband went inside looking for fudge with peanuts, but unfortunately, they didn’t have any available. Initially, I thought it might be due to peanut allergies, but then I noticed peanut brittle showcased in the window. The employee was a bit unfriendly and suggested we try peanut butter fudge instead, so we went with that option. I have to say, it was truly delicious! We all know how rich fudge can be, so it lasted us a few days. I'm giving it only 4 stars due to the lack of customer service.

I visited Murdick's for some courteous service after having a terrible experience at the Sweet Spot across the street. I'm so glad we chose to come here!
