The Deck Steakhouse - Mackay

Lunch Special: $18.50. This was the best Fish and Chips I've ever experienced! The crumbed Red Throat Emperor served with chips and salad was fantastic. The fish was tender and fluffy, coated in a delightful crunchy breadcrumb rather than the usual batter. The chips were just as impressive—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, without that greasy taste. Absolutely brilliant!

I've visited a few times now, and the steak is absolutely delightful. The salad pairs perfectly with the chips. I've also tried the fish, and it was wonderful too. The Deck Steakhouse definitely has my endorsement!

Tonight was incredibly busy, but the atmosphere, service, and food were outstanding! Despite the crowds, the meals came out quickly and the prices were fantastic. I'm on vacation, but I will definitely recommend this place to others and return whenever I'm in the area. Great job to the hardworking staff tonight; I hope your boss recognizes all the effort you put in!

I absolutely love the new look of the restaurant, and the food was fantastic as always, including the side salad! Our table of six enjoyed steaks, a rack of ribs, oysters, and Caesar salad, and each dish was amazing!
