Souths Leagues Club - Mackay

I often come here with friends. No need to dress up. The service is quick and the prices relatively cheap especially with the discount for being a club member. ( membership is only a few dollars and recouped in the first few visits) yesterday I got a lovely complimentary ginger snack biscuit with coffee I thought it would be a bit noisy as I think the gaming room is next door but it is relatively quiet in the comfy bench seat cubicles.Shannon who served us yesterday was very accommodating and even organised a pink spider ( icecream soda) for my friend. There are cakes and other goodies to eat as well.

We like it so returned following week! Good atmosphere, meals good, great little coffee shop and friendly staff which always makes a difference so credit to you all! We will return!

Great place to go on a Sunday afternoon for lunch to support one of the local sporting clubs with their fund raising raffles as well as having a great reasonable priced lunch nad a few drinks.

Went here with family for a birthday. Was a busy saturday night and it didnt take long too see they were very short staffed. Drinks line up in restraunt 10 deep one barstaff. Food was very typical of a leagues club. Nothing special but you get fed eventually. This place has good sports bar and pokies room but eat at home.

We ordered from menu at lunchtime and were told that they didnt gave the item we ordered. They were able to get the missing major ingredients from the restaurant. This meant quite a long wait for our meals. The food was good but not great. We decided at the time we probably wouldnt bother returning as we coulld get better prices and better lunches at the shopping centres. To be fair this may have been an off day or one off occurance. We dont normally frequent these clubs and we werent impressed enough to change that. Food was good, pricing ok but just not us.
