Blue Gecko Bar and Restaurant - Mackay

The menu had enough choice despite being only a small menu. The food was delicious and the seating around the pool made for a great atmosphere. Also has a well stocked bar choice which is great for a Motel restaurant.

I had Rissoles and veg, very tasty.Husband had lamb rack and veg, also delicious.Good sized portions.

The food is excellent and as fresh as I've tasted before. The service is excellent and I'm keen to come back and stay again.

Steak was fantastic, packet mix sauce while tasty covered the flavour of a quality cut of meat! Meal was presented well, chips were steak cut and crisp and the Greek salad was fresh and lightly dressed.

I was staying at the Mackay Resort Motel so decided to try their restaurant. I ordered an eye fillet steak and was very happy with my meal. Reasonably priced. Service was good and friendly. You can choose to eat inside the restaurant or outside beside the pool. I would eat here again.
