Angelo's on the Marina - MACKAY HARBOUR

We went here for our last meal in Mackay for a special meal. Location was great however thats as far as it went. Wine by the glass was only "house" Wine which was disgusting cheap rubbish. Then when main meal came out (pasta & Morton Bay bugs).To my surprise I found 3 x long black hair buried amongst the pasta. I advised the waitress and all she did was offer me sweets...no sorry or anything. Worst dining experience ever!!!!!

Granted my group was like 30 people. Any group this large is difficult to manage. However 90% ordered the $25 all you can eat menu which included garlic bread (yummy), 4 different types of pizza and a choice from 4 types of pasta. Pizza's were ok but I wouldn't write home about them. Pasta's were mediocre. Sicilian sausage one was probably the pick. The boscaiola looked like it had way too much cream. The spinach dumpling one looked like creamy peas. Did not look appetising. Would I come back? Probably not.

Italian inspired menu and the food is very tasty. Wonderful service where youcan sit inside or out. Does pay to book at weekends.

Consistently good,staff attentive, nice view, inside and out side options. One small issue is can be very noisy when busy....but on the up side consistently busy means good food!!

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Fodd is disgusting. and overpriced. I should have read the reviews before heading to this place. The place is full of cheap pictures. Will never suggest this place to anyone. Its a total rip off!!!!! THE WORST RESTAURANT.
