The food is decent but yesterday we waited an hour for an order of two pancakes. A word to the wise.

When we visited Machias, the only places open for breakfast were McDonald's, Dunkin Donuts, and Tom's. Don't be deceived by appearances. Go in the mini mart and there's a little restaurant at the back. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to you. Get your beverages in the mini mart, then pay for everything at the mini mart checkout counter. I had sausage gravy biscuits with an egg and hash brown patty. It was fine, but nothing special.
