My father introduced me to this place 10 years ago and has been back for several years. No nonsense staff, honest and high quality food. Some Macanese style Portuguese food and some authentic. Always a good meal here!
This is one of the oldest Portuguese restaurant in Macau, and it provides authentic Portuguese food. I ordered a vegetable soup and steamed bacalhau They come to my table very fast and are filled completely all over the plates. This restaurant is suitable for friend meeting and I saw many Portuguese gathering around here
A Vencedora is local restaurant on Rua do Campo that opened in 1918, making it one of the oldest eateries in Macau. This is a good place to try traditional Macanese food. Opening hours are 11am to 11pm daily. Closed on public holidays. You'll find two floors of simple cafe seating with a menu features a wide range of Macanese as well as some Portuguese and Cantonese favourites . The owner is very friendly and happy to help you with orders if unfamiliar with local Macanese or other food items on the menu. Food orders are pretty good, very reasonably priced compared to many restaurants closer to the Historic Centre of Macau. Overall, A Vencedora is a good experience for those who want simple, traditional Macanese food experience.
Authentic Macanese food. Very delicious would recommend to friends and family. Must try dishes: minchi (minced pork with potato and onion slices and a fried egg) with rice, pastel de bacalhau (fish cod balls)
