Tdt Bbq - Mableton

Used to pop by frequently to grab lunch for my Dad. Usually chicken leg quarters and dirty rice, which did not disappoint!! Stopped back in recently and had the salmon. It was delicious and the serving size could last me 2-3 meals. Quick, convenient and local. And Chef Shombe always has a smile and will stop whatever he's doing to chat for a bit. Often he throws in surprise desserts to show he appreciates his customers. I'll definitely be back.

Oh my! I was looking forward to a sandwich from @Publix but didn?t catch the yellow light. Because it?s a nice day, I had my windows down and suddenly , the greatest smell on earth surrounded me. I look over, and see @TDTBBQ just to my right. Sorry, @Publix New plan I pulled into the parking lot, and couldn?t get in any faster. Upon entering the gas station, I noticed the place was packed, yet Everyone had a smile on their faces. I didn?t have to wait long to place my order, and was greeted by a really nice cashier. I placed my order, walked around and bought a couple of pops on sale, and my order was ready Everything was just delicious, perfectly smoked, and just the right amount of spice Oh And when I told the cashier it was my first time in, she gave me a free cobbler. Food coma awaits

The ribs were fall off the bone tender with just enough pull for the bite. The smoked ring was both evident in presentation and taste...real smoked bbq! Delicious pork ribs, not too dry. Almost perfect. The mac and cheese, oh so ooey gooey cheesy, moist, creamy, flavorful. The baked beans were fair, they lacked the zip, the tang for me to want more. The homemade potato salad was far too sweet and I tasted no hint of egg. The most disappointing was the beef brisket. It was not sliced, served as one huge chunk of brisket that was pretty burned, hard around the edges and dry. Have never had brisket served like that before. The smoked chicken wings were fantasic and perfectly smoked seasoned. But, perhaps this was a miss on a hit or miss day for the others menu items. Although consistancy is key, Will give another try, but will specify sliced brisket, not one big chunk, and minus the very burned, dry ends.

I saw on Instagram that they had grilled lamb chops one day so I hurried to go get some. By the time I got there, they were sold out. ?. But Chef Shombe gave me a rain check and said I could come another day to get some and they would be on him! I thought that was very nice since this was my first time visiting there but I?d been following his IG page for months. I decided to get the turkey wings, ribs, sausage dogs, Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, collard greens and potato salad. OMG!!! The turkey wings were smoked to perfection and seasoned just right. The ribs fell off the bone and had that grilled/smoked flavor I love. The sides were cooked like my grandma made them. Everything was sooooo good. My family of four ate off this food for two days. I?ve found my new favorite spot for soul food. I highly recommend this place! I?m definitely going back for the grilled lamb chops and on days when he doesn?t have those on the menu.

This is the best place to get BBQ! It's so delicious and even the sides are sooooo amazing!! They season the green beans so differently then any place I've been to, the taste is so unique and I love it. Wouldn't get BBQ anywhere else. Also the customer service here is great!
