Pizza King Kebab House - Mablethorpe

I’ve had two kebab wraps from Youngs now, with fries and garlic sauce, and they are fantastic! They're not greasy, and they come with a generous amount of salad. The spicy chili sauce is a must-try; you really can’t go wrong with it. I've definitely had my fill, so I highly recommend Youngs!

I’m only in town for a week for work, and I was looking for a nearby takeaway. I decided to try Pizza King, and I’m so glad I did! It had the best kebab wrap I’ve ever had. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it.

The menu offers a wide variety of choices beyond just pizza; they also serve kebabs, burgers, and Southern Fried Chicken (SFC) wraps, along with several meal deals. So far, the service has been efficient, with plenty of staff on hand and no issues with our orders. However, the space inside is limited and it tends to be busy, so waiting customers might want to utilize the benches outside. In the years we’ve been coming here, we’ve tried a good number of items from the menu, so this review is based on multiple visits. The standout options for us are the pizzas and kebabs; both are always well-cooked and delicious. Unlike some other takeaways that only offer doner kebabs, this place also serves shish kebabs, which is a nice touch. My only complaint would be that they could be more generous with the salad — it's a bit stingy — and where's the red cabbage and chili? The burgers and chips tend to taste better when the place is busy since fresh batches are cooked then. There have been occasions where we received refried chips that were overly greasy and ended up in the bin! My best advice is to take a quick glance over the counter to see how things look before ordering. The burgers are generally fine, not extraordinary, but they’re tastier than the typical £2 offerings from the small burger and hotdog stalls around town. I haven’t tried the other regular burgers, so I can’t comment on the vegetarian options or variety there. One area for improvement is the consistency of the Southern Fried Chicken; it varies quite a bit. Overall, this place is one of our favorite spots in town if we’re in the mood for burgers, pizza, or kebabs.
