Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Mabank

First time eating here because I purchased 2 of the local school kids discount cards to be used at local restaurants until 09/2024. After ordering our 2 meat plate and 2 drinks to get the 2nd 2 meat plate free the lady marked the discount off my 1st card that I used. I was initially upset and said that was supposed to be good for a year but was informed it was a management decision so I conceded. After eating the 2 dinners I immediately regretted getting upset that they marked off the discount on my first card and would gladly drop my second card by and let them mark it off of that one as well so I'm never tempted to eat there again. Really is no reason to mark off those discounts I doubt they get used more than once anyways. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I give 1 star for the potato salad. Service was horrible. We both ordered the mild sausage and chicken. Sausage scorched my mouth, I brought this to the employees attention and he didn't offer me anything. I had to use a napkin to wipe down my table since no other clean table was available. The chicken was so dry and all the bbq sauces were all filled with very hot spicy bbq sauce. I have medical issue where hot spicy food is not good for me, I left hungry and paid over 40 bucks for 2 meals. I just want the owner of this establishment know he has employees that poorly represent his business will run it in the ground treating customers this way Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I door dash from here often and too many times have I received an ingredient I tell them to hold that I’m allergic to. They do not pay attention nor do they care. Don’t waste your time or money here. Edit to respond: Fake? I tried to reach out to you via Facebook to address the issue of which I had pictures. You blocked me. You run a bad business and deserve to be called out for it. Ribs in No way we're falling off the bone. Meat was so dry and so overdone with liquid smoke that's all I tasted. Only got 2 small ones the length of my fingers. Brisket was dry and had no flavor even tho it had a good smoke ring. Mac n cheese was pretty good. Okra was amazing and pretty much the whole thing out of $20 I ate smh. The little roll they give u was hard as a brick. BBQ did have a good flavor. Great sweet tea and customer service but food severely lacked.
