Dakong Bato - Maasin City

Great place, close to the ocean where you can sit, eat, and enjoy the view. The food is very good, and the service is friendly. The interior is nicely decorated, and the portions are large at good prices. Keep up the good work! It would be fantastic to invest a bit in new tables for the terrace.

Clear sea

A few days ago, while traveling from Maasin to Padre Burgos, we stumbled upon this typical Pinoy restaurant along the way. There weren’t many customers at the time, just a large table with about ten guests on the terrace. We ordered a variety of seafood and fish dishes, and to our delight, the food was served in just about ten minutes. We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was. This was, without a doubt, the best meal we had in Maasin, and I highly recommend this restaurant. As a Swiss-Italian chef with over 20 years of experience in the Philippines, I have opened two successful restaurants with my family: one in Cordova called the Swiss Italian Restaurant and another in Malapascua named Da Alfredo's Swiss Italian German Restaurant. Both are considered among the best Western restaurants in the Philippines.

I can’t get enough of the stunning ocean view at this restaurant. The interior is just as remarkable as the menu prices. The recent investment in new terraces is sure to make this spot even more popular.

It wasn’t very busy, with only one large table of about twelve guests outside on the terrace. We ordered primarily seafood and fish dishes, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious they turned out to be when they arrived shortly after. This was the best meal we had during our stay in Maasin, and I highly recommend this restaurant. The chef, a well-known Swiss Italian with over [number] years of experience in the Philippines, also owns two highly regarded Western restaurants with his family in Cordova: Swiss Italian Restaurant and Alfredo’s Swiss Italian Restaurant in Malapascua.
