Blauw Amsterdam B.v. Maarssen

I ate at restaurant last night and it was absolutely incredible. The food is amazing! I had lamb in a spicy soy sauce and my sister had chicken in soy and honey. We both enjoyed the food. The main dishes were accompanied with a variety of side dishes. This was perfect as we were able to try a wide variety of foods, which as a person that has never tried Indonesian food, and had no idea what was good, this was very useful! Each dish was exquisite! On top of the fantastic food, the service was also brilliant. Admittedly, there were times when the service was a little slow, however, our server apologised for this and explained that there was a new chef. She was kind, attentive and answered all our questions. Additionally, we were sat opposite an 'awkward diner ' and I felt the server handled this with good grace and patience! In summary it was absolutely fantastic and I could not recommend it more. The only thing I don 't like about this restaurant is how far away it is from me.

The food is the best in town.. service super good and friendly.. only 1 minus point is that we always had to ask for another drink .. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody !

Gezellig restaurant met een leuke bediening. De rijsttafel die we gekozen hadden was voortreffelijk. Heel leuk dat al die gerechtjes in kleine schaaltjes op de tafel kwamen. De tafel stond wel bomvol maar het zag er gezellig uit en het was heel lekker.

Nice decor, service was exceptional and the food was even better. If you are visiting Amsterdam and are looking for quality food and value for money I would definitely recommend.

What a great and diverse cuisine! The service is professional and friendly, the setting is modern and cozy and the food is incredibly tasty!
