Railhead Cafe - Lytle

I was in town, so I looked at reviews for restaurants and stumbled on this jewel! The food was very delicious. We had burgers who made my son's appetite! The onion ring was the best I had for a long time!! Will definitely come back!

Great food, I'm from SE Louisiana, so I'm picky with seafood. The fried fish and the fried shrimp were great. And the red beans and rice. Kenneth, our server never let us need anything.

Great hole in the wall! Came to Lytle, TX to install my mother's headstone and we decided first on breakfast tacos, but could not the other restaurant! Well, Super-Glad we found this place as an ingenious customer service; good selection of warm and cold foods; and very tasty and fresh made home cooking! Leave the rolls with cinnamon butter and ask the cabbage as a side! Super Delicious! Give this place a try; very clean and welcoming! As my wife said so eloquently, “a big little feeling”!

Love this place! The best catfish I had since the move to San Antonio, and the staff is great. The sweet tea and peach is perfect... I couldn't say enough great things about this place.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the food is outstanding. You must try the naked fried catfish—it's free of breading and incredibly delicious, with perfect seasoning and no grease! The onion rings are also fantastic. They have a nice selection of cold beers. I loved my experience and will definitely be returning!
