We had a great experience here on the 4th of July! Everything was delicious, but special shout out to the chips and salsa, the barometer for any Mexican restaurant. We had to wait a minute for the chips because they are made fresh (YES! . They came out hot, not too greasy, perfect thinness, and with a light dusting of some magical seasoning on them. First time at Naomi's Diner in Lytle TX...good food, good service...the beans taste really good, had some taste to pork lard added!

I had a local meeting at the Lytle Community Center, and had time to have breakfast beforehand. I discovered it via the Yelp app and was pleasantly surprised. Warm welcoming, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I could see some of the locals eating here so II new I was in the right place. Ham, eggs, eggs, toast were the order of the day. Toast not burnt, hash browns cooked without being burnt, a large coffee cup. Great way to start the day! Oh don't be alarmed. There are signs posted all over requesting you turn down your phone and game volume for the privacy of others. Sad you have to be told, but as was mentioned to me by the waitress, the older customers that wear hearing aides pick up on the noise more so so its to help them out. Make sense to me. Will definetly be back again, when I can.

Atmosphere is nice and calm. Comfortable. The service was sweet. The food was nice, good home-cooked meals at a really good price.
