Is it upscale? Not at all. But for a small town, the pizza here is surprisingly excellent. I haven’t sampled much else on the menu, but it has definitely become our favorite spot for pizza. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

To start, I wouldn't say this is the best pizza I've ever had. However, I have to give credit to the kitchen—it was impressively clean, and I've worked in over 20 restaurants, so I can appreciate that. I would recommend trying their specialty slices or pies, as the standard pizza was just average for me. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a solid 5.

I went to pick up my order, but they couldn't find my pizza. They handed me my fries and hot dessert, but there was an order of medium wings and pizza sitting on the rack. After a while, the manager finally checked the order and identified the pizza. She slid it across the counter and said it was mine before walking away. I took a look and saw that it was thick, while I had ordered a thin crust. She shouted to a worker to make a new one. Meanwhile, another customer showed up for his order—where was his pizza? They convinced him to take my incorrect order instead. Now my fries and dessert were cold. Two employees apologized, but the manager didn’t say a word. I regrettably left a tip when I paid, but I won’t be coming back. I’ll drive to Newark next time.
