Restaurant Vatel - Lyon

The food is excellent, the quality ratio price without equal! We appreciate the concept of hotel school and the will of students. I'm not hiding my disappointment at the end of my meal. Indeed, the beginning of the service was extremely slow and so we spent more than 3 hours at the table. The property offers a preferential package with a parking space for 3 hours. With this parking lot at 5min on foot we have exceeded by 10min these 3h, which has earned us the double price of the parking lot. When I wanted to talk to the manager (and suggest to extend to 3h30 4h the duration of the arrangement with this parking lot if the restaurant doesn’t think it is able to serve 5 people in less than 3h what it is still 100% ok since they are students! I was extremely badly received not to say that she spoke to me completely non-professionally and at the limit of politeness. I sincerely hope that this is not the way she learns to speak to her students... despite the quality of the meal and service, this end leaves us a bitter taste.

Very good address, we enjoyed at a more than correct price, the map is very beautiful. Refined cuisine. Very good wine. We feel the students who love this beautiful trade, both in the room and in the kitchen. They put customers in a relaxed atmosphere. Let's encourage them to need our restaurants. Family meeting on 23 September 2023. Excellent day! Personal care. High quality service. Friendly atmosphere, funny, and nice. Perfect kitchen. Cheese and dessert carts are exceptional. After Vatel Nimes a few years ago just as perfect. I strongly recommend Vatel Lyon.

Very good application restaurant. Young people are motivated and effective. The dishes are worth a star. One flat: the price of the wines with glass. 23 € a glass of wine of 10 cl !!!! Too bad because on a menu at 49 € it's almost 50% of the menu price for a drink.
