Octopus - Lyon

Disappointed with this yet promising address in the face of slate and decor. First clue: we were the only table in the middle of a meal time, it’s pretty bad sign. The dishes are without originality, lack taste and the quality of the products is passable. Positive yet: good reception and decoration is nice. I don't recommend it.

The place is nice with its large terrace, 2 steps from the Saxe metro. Very nice service, the bartender was very smiling and the waitress really got involved in finding us a table! On the other hand it has become really expensive for the quality of what is served: cocktails are light and boards expensive for quantity and quality. For example 8€ for 3 mini tapnades and bcp of nachos... Or 15,50€ for a mixed board not extraordinary. I miss the Maquignons

A pleasant setting, a kitchen with good products, quick service, smiling and helpful staff. I recommend this restaurant ideally placed with terrace.
