Cafe Vert - Lyon

Her menu changes constantly, so there is always something new to try. while eating at some days is better than others, the place is really sweet, the personal is friendly, and everything is 100% cruelty free.

Cozy restaurant, small and intimate. a kerl did everything (service and kitchen,) but everything went surpringly smooth and the service was very fast. it meant that it wasn't much to choose on the menu, but for us that was no problem at all. we were well fed and the price was reasonable (the set menu was €25 and for that you had quite everything on the menu beautiful local beer as well. the waiter cook manager said that he had taken over the caffe a few years earlier, so some of the older reviews on happycow might not be up to date anymore.

We enjoyed our tasting course last august very delicious and refreshing. chef was very friendly and explained how everything is prepared (because we asked many we even took to enjoy the food during our trip (it was not easy to find a vegan place in lyon, especially in august.)

There are few dishes and the food is homemade of the day. taste is very good, product of proximity and season and good attention. on my part, I would lack some plant protein. highly recommended!

The food here was very yummy! The staff were very lovely and helpful in translating the menu for us. The food was out to us quick and tasted absolutely delicious! It’s a small little cafe with only a few tables in a nice area of Lyon. Highly recommend
