I had a very impressive meal here. Nice sized portions. It came with delicious cornbread sticks I really liked. I had the brisket plate with two sides, Mac n cheese and fried okra. The brisket was fork tender, full of flavor, with a light coating of bbq sauce. I could have used more but didn't care enough to ask. The mac was ehhh, it tasted like safeway Mac n cheese to be honest. The okra was very good, crispy on the outside and hot and fresh on the inside. The lemonade was also very refreshing. If I lived in town, I'd be back for everything but the Mac n cheese.

Really close to perfect. Beautiful clean space and awewome warm, helpful, friendly service. The BBQ brisket was great, the cute little pieces of corn bread were awesome. Iced tea was fresh amd tasty... tried the sweet to live it up a bit.. keep up the nice work on that. Cole slaw was solid and better than most local places keeping it simple and getting the right level of required sweetness. On the downside the Nashville Hot Chicken Breast sandwich had awesome potential but somehow came out extra oily like something went wrong in the frying process, so that was a bummer. It could be good, so wonder if I should try that again. Just a little scared after the greasy oil overload. The waffle fries were OK, but something was off like maybe too much seasoning or something. Also wish they had more varieties sof bbq sauce like a hot and sweet version in addition to the regular. Would likely go back for all the positives, but may need to order more selectively and carefully next time to avoid the weaker items.

WOW! Hands down my new favorite restaurant in Lynden, the Hot Chicken Sandwich is amazing! Comes with a ton of food and delicious cornbread too. Also, prices aren't crazy like most restaurants in Lynden, will definitely be a regular :
