Maylynn’s Creamery Downtown

I have had good experiences at this restaurant before, but today I ordered my ice cream in a sugar cone (as usual). When I received my cone, it was actually a waffle cone. The server insisted it was not a waffle cone and that only waffle cones are used. I was frustrated because she expected me to accept her statement, despite the clear difference in texture and shape. I reminded her that the thin wafer cone was supposed to be the sugar cone from my previous visit. She apologized but did not offer to correct the mistake. Since I hadn't taken a bite yet, it would have been easy to fix. I do not like waffle cones, especially because of the texture, so I ended up paying for a product I couldn't enjoy. I didn't want to make a big deal out of a cone, but I hope this feedback will help improve customer service and correct errors in the future.

This ice cream shop is fantastic! I would definitely come back again. They have made an effort to make ordering easy, even allowing for half portions.

Always a great experience here! Their mixers are my favorite but their rolled ice cream and their hard ice cream flavors are also spot on. I’ve been here several times when the line has been long and have been consistently surprised how fast the service is. Very impressed and I can tell the owner does a great job training his employees. Customer service is excellent.

I have been a regular at Ice for years. The portions are generous, so make sure to order accordingly. The ice options are vast and always top-notch. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service with a smile!
