Hwy. 20 And Lounge - Lyman

I live in the area and have frequented this restaurant a few times since it opened with the current owners. Food has always been good and they had a pretty decent wait staff but also appear to under staff. Still, overall, I 've been pleased. Now to my latest experience. My wife and I attempted to have dinner there the other night, first clue to leave should have been that they only had one person running the bar and tending to the dining room. She couldn 't figure out which beer was which despite having just poured them, should have finished the beer and left at that point but I was feeling good and not in a rush. After watching her take other orders from diners that had come in after us, she looks at me and says did I take your order yet, I can 't remember , we had been there approximately 20 minutes at that point. Still wanting to eat and knowing our options in the area were limited at that hour, we reluctantly ordered our food. We sat for another fifteen minutes and watched others get their food when she walked up and apologized to me but my food didn 't get put on the ticket and what did I order. Waited another ten minutes and when the people seated near us that had come into the place twenty minutes after we did got their food, I threw some money on the table for the beers and we left, still very hungry. Can 't say that we will ever stop there again, eventhough we both drive by it twice daily.

Really good breakfast!! One of my favorites! Very friendly staff. Their homemade biscuits are amazing.

Hashbrowns we're good and crunchy. The homemade biscuit and sausages were also warm and tasty AF. Coffee was meh. Service was friendly.

Omelette were pure perfection and the hasbrowns were golden crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The next time we visited we had the French dips best I ever had. This place is a hidden treasure

Decent food at fairly reasonable prices. For breakfast try their chicken fried steak. First off, it's not the usual pre-made and formed, frozen, deep fried, hockey puck that many restaurants pass off as chicken fried steak. No, this one is housemade, breaded and pan fried with at least a little butter! And it is HUGE. Eggs were cooked perfectly, over easy. Just the way I like em. The hash browns are decent. Not exceptional. My coffee never runs dry either.
