The Blacksmiths Arms - Lydney

This is a charming traditional pub with excellent service and very affordable drink prices. I didn't try the food myself, but it looked delicious based on what I saw.

I had a pleasant stay at the Blacksmiths Arms, which I would characterize as a quintessential traditional country pub! You can truly appreciate the care that has been put into the establishment. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed one of the best pints of ale I've had in quite some time. It's also a fantastic location for visiting Chepstow Castle and exploring other attractions along the Wye Valley the following day.

We recently visited this place during a bike tour of the Forest of Dean. The size was just right, and it had a laid-back atmosphere, which we appreciated. The highlight, however, was the food; we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the pub and an amazing breakfast the next morning. The staff were also very courteous and friendly. Thank you so much!
