La Tasca - Luz-Saint-Sauveur

Found this gem on our last night in Luz where we had the nicest meal of our trip. Its only about 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village. A few tapas to start with (Calamar was delicious) and a selection of mains all of which were lovely. We sat on the terrace which overlooks the mountains. Nice atmosphere background music. Owner very friendly and took time to chat and answer questions about the area. We would have gone back if we'd had another night there

I loved this place so much I came here back to back. Here are my highlights: 1) Food and Presentation: Caesar Salad amazingly crispy and lightly breaded chicken Suspended Trout and Shrimp flavorful and juicy Suspended Curry Chicken tender chicken Frites perfectly cooked, crispy and light Fleur de Medieval tasy and stylish presentation 2) Service the staff went above and beyond to make my party happy. They also spoke English. They were attentive and even made accommodations for special cocktails. Nina (the owner) was incredibly personable. 3) Atmosphere we sat on the patio. Good music. The patio overlooks the mountains, so we had a pretty good view of the Thunderstorm. Thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be back.

Quick service and nice servers. the concept of the brasero is hyper user-friendly. Unfortunately level tastes it brings nothing. the quality of cheese seems low-end. damage because for the rest it goes (charcuterie ok, and potatoes very well cooked). So stars. Forgive me because the person who makes the desserts on the side spends his time licking his fingers, then takes the plates without ever passing through the washbasin box throughout the service. beurk
